Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Reach ("Reach," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Reach.

1. The service

Reach is a job-search and networking workspace that helps you track applications, organize professional contacts, and send outreach email. Features and pricing may change over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Reach.

3. Sending email through Reach

If you connect a Google account, Reach sends email on your behalf using Gmail. You are solely responsible for the content of email you send and for complying with anti-spam laws (including the CAN-SPAM Act and similar rules). Do not use Reach to send unsolicited bulk email, harassment, or unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that abuse sending.

4. AI-assisted features

Reach offers optional AI-assisted features, such as drafting outreach email and scoring your résumé against a job description. Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation — you are responsible for reviewing anything Reach drafts or scores before you rely on it or send it. These features are not professional, career, or legal advice. See the Privacy Policy for how your content is handled when you use them.

5. Payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time from Settings → Manage billing. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Student pricing requires a valid .edu email address.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Do not upload unlawful content or infringe others' rights.
• Do not use Reach to violate any third party's terms (including Google's).

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you put into Reach (applications, contacts, résumés, email). You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you. You can export or delete your data at any time (Settings → Privacy & data).

8. Disclaimers & liability

Reach is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

9. Termination

You may stop using Reach and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Support access

Authorised Reach staff may access your account data where necessary to provide support, diagnose a fault, investigate fraud or abuse, or recover an account. That access is read-only, is logged with a reason, and is never used to act on your behalf. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
